A unique breed for a very unique dog!

We were in San Antonio when we discovered what Ally’s actual breed might be.  A man asked about her and then went on to explain that he has a dog just like her. He said that Ally could be a catahoula leopard dog.  Originally bred as work dogs in Louisiana, the catahoula hunted wild pigs.  Check out the webpage:

Ally-gator!

Now when RV parks say: “We don’t allow aggressive breeds.”

We can say: “That is fine, she is a catahoula!”

On a side note, we learned that Ally can jump out of Blanca’s back window.  The weather was so nice while we were on a power geo-cache  (a string of several caches on a long road) we had all the windows down.   Ruckus!
